因讀chachagirl之文章,
知道微生物發酵法也有可能直入牛基因。
為確保起見,再度詢問其發酵酵素種類,
如果是微生物發酵,
希望避免與基改植入牛基因的菌種混淆的疑義。
其皆表示為素食菌種或是天然菌種。

Frico Cheese uses only the real vegetarian microbial rennet, which is absolutely not GMO related.

Please find below the explanation I received from our suppliers of Microbial Rennet:
MICROBIAL RENNET is manufactured from submerged fermentation of a selected strain
of the fungus Rhizomucor miehei. This Fungus is naturally occurring and produces the protease enzymes
required for clotting milk
If this scientific explanation is difficult to understand I can ask them for a more detailed explanation.
