印度最大的鞋類及配飾公司之一Ｍｅｔｒｏ最近與印度「善待動物組織」（ＰＥＴＡ）

合作推出名為「扎染系列」的純素鞋產品線。這次的產品發布是為了榮耀「多彩的

地球及生活在其中的所有動物」，該類產品有各種漂亮款式可供選擇。

這是印度主要的鞋類零售商首次推出官方純素鞋系列。此次發布是在印度

林伽亞維迪亞佩斯大學研究人員二○二一年的預測之後，他們預測「一旦疫情結束，

Indian footwear company launches vegan range.

One of the biggest footwear and accessory companies in India, Metro, recently

unveiled a vegan line of shoes called the Tie-Dye Collection, in collaboration

with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India. The release

is to honor the “colorful Earth and all the animals who live on it,” and the

products are available in an assortment of beautiful styles. This is the

first time a leading Indian shoe retailer has introduced an official collection

of vegan footwear. The release comes following a prediction in 2021 by

researchers from the Indian university Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth that “once

the pandemic is over, people are going to move towards vegan and sustainable
