Award-winning plant-based butcher brand from Poland arrives in United Kingdom.
The rapidly growing Polish company Plenty Reasons offers a range of delectable vegan products, including meat-free salami, garlic ham, chorizo, pepperoni and black pudding sausages. Created with proteins from wheat and peas, all its items are free from palm oil. Rafał Czech and Igor Sadurski, founders of Plenty Reasons, decided to start a plant-based company in 2016, with over 2,000 people participating in their crowdfunding campaign. Today, their offerings are available in over 400 stores across Poland, and also in Estonia, Hungary, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and now Britain. Rafał Czech shared, “We are delighted to be bringing our high-quality meat alternatives to the UK… Together we are fighting for the ethical treatment of animals, environmental protection, and a healthier, happier life.” Congratulations, Plenty Reasons! Plant-based food fair planned for Brazil.
AGN Business Consulting, based in Brazil, is set to host a plant-based food fair on June 6-7, 2022, in São Paulo, which it describes as the first such event in the country. According to AGN, the aim of the gathering is to bring together participants in the plant-based food sector from Brazil and abroad. In 2021, half of Brazilians were reducing animal-person-based food consumption, with plant-based items such as local vegan chocolate alternatives being launched. According to Gus Guadagnini, CEO of The Good Food Institute in Brazil, “…consumers in the region are very open to plant protein. Therefore, I can say that the sector is developing much faster here and that this trend will be sustained in the coming years.” What wonderful news, AGN Business Consulting, for uniting the plant-based community in Brazil. 世界會的韓國小中心也透過Zoom視訊慶祝新書發布,其他人也都可以透過YouTube收看線上直播。在為烏克蘭祈禱和小中心代表陳述感想後,聽到了幾位受人尊敬的非會員的留言,他們在閱讀師父的書後分享了他們的正面回饋。

In the Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association News from Korea…
“A peaceful vegan world, the world our Master dreams of.”
With the recent launch of the Korean edition of Supreme Master Ching Hai’s book “Love Is the Only Solution,” our Association members in Korea printed and distributed 33,000 copies to pedestrians free-of-charge, as well as placing them in Loving Hut vegan restaurants and mailing them to public organizations.
Our Association’s Korean centers also celebrated the book launch via Zoom link, with others able to tune in through a live stream on YouTube. Following a prayer for Ukraine and thoughts from the centers’ representatives, messages were heard from several respected non-member individuals who shared their positive feedback after reading Master’s book.
“As She (Supreme Master Ching Hai) mentioned in the book, the coronavirus, which has caused a global pandemic crisis this time, is a disease that comes from animals because we humans eat meat. If we humans hadn’t eaten meat in the first place, we really wouldn’t have had to experience such a global disaster.”
“I think it’s quite meaningful to propose to tackle the problem by enacting Vegan Law.”
“In the book, there are decisive sentences like, ‘Love the animals, we’ll be veg (vegan). Love the Earth, we’ll go green. Vegan powerlifter in United Kingdom sets national female records.
Sophia Ellis recently set six national records at the British Women’s Classic Championships. Her efforts included deadlifting a massive 237.5 kilograms, which is also an unofficial record for Europe. Ms. Ellis has been vegan for ten years, and attributes a large part of her success of holding over 20 national and international records to the power of quick recovery on a plant-based diet. In June this year, she will compete in the World Championships, where she hopes to take a title following her Bronze medal achievements in the 2021 event. Congratulations, Sophia Ellis, and we wish you good fortune in the coming competitions. Hi, selfless friends, it’s me, Gina, a vegan gal from the Gelada kingdom! In honor of the wondrous creation, I keep my heart pure and true by following the path of compassion. Like this, my days beam with contentment. I have a cooking tip on how to make vegan corn fritters. This delectable appetizer will have your guests craving for more! Start out by combining one-fourth cup (40 grams) cornmeal, one-half cup (80 grams) all-purpose flour, one tablespoon (15 grams) sugar, half a teaspoon (2 grams) of baking powder, three-fourths teaspoon (4 grams) salt, and fresh cracked pepper in a large mixing bowl. Then, add in a half-cup (120 milliliters) soymilk and whisk it all together until the mixture is smooth. Next, stir in one cup (160 grams) corn and two thinly sliced green onions, and a half-cup (60 grams) diced red bell pepper. Drop a tablespoon of vegetable oil in a frying pan and wait until it gets hot. Then add a spoonful of the mixture to the pan and fry for approximately two minutes on each side until it turns golden and crispy. This sweetcorn fritter dish goes well with salsa or a simple salad.
